Y-Sweet Storage
With Y-Sweet on Jamsocket, your documents are automatically persisted for you. On the free tier, you can store up to 10GB of documents.
We are currently working on new observability features for Y-Sweet documents. If you have questions about your usage, feel free to contact us in the meantime.
You can check that managed storage is enabled for you under the Storage section of a Y-Sweet service in the Jamsocket Dashboard.
Getting Started
As long as you’re connected to a Y-Sweet service from your application using a connection string, Y-Sweet service will automatically persist your documents.

Bring your own Storage (BYOS)
To persist documents to your own S3 bucket, detach Jamsocket’s managed storage and enable Bring your own Storage.
When you detach any storage option, your documents will no longer persist and can result in data loss.
You can always re-enable managed storage if you’d like.
